Artist’s Bio

Arne is a multi-talented writer, photographer, story-teller, philosopher, father, and friend.






Born: Toronto

By trade: photographer

Retired from professional photography

Moved to British Columbia

Studied stone carving amongst the Haida

Graduated with honours from Emily Carr College of Art and Design

Won Helen Pitt Graduate Award as top art student in British Columbia

Took up drawing

Moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia

Began making collages incorporating image and text

Retuned to Toronto

Produced radio broadcasts from interviews conducted on the Toronto Subway line

One-man exhibitions from Vancouver B.C. to St. John’s Newfoundland
